Yahoo! shut dawn blog about search engine marketing
Yahoo! Search Marketing blog will be closed May 31, and all of its visitors will be redirected to the Advertising blog , in which the company promises to consider the full range of online advertising, including search.
The reason for the closure of the blog is quite clear – the company two years shall transfer its own search advertising system on the power of Microsoft adCentre and latest blog post is devoted to the process of transport accounts and campaigns of advertisers to the new platform. As soon as the whole transfer is completed at the beginning of this year, the need for a blog, in principle, eliminated.
Symbolic step, and a little sad – the story of pioneers of search advertising seems to have been completed in full.
